Research
I define the need or decision, understand the constraints, and establish what the evidence would need to show before anyone relies on it.

Evidence into use
I turn complex needs and uncertain evidence into clear decisions, useful services, and working tools.
A way of working
unclear need→useful intervention
uncertain evidence→supported decision
working prototype→service people can use
How I work
I define the need or decision, understand the constraints, and establish what the evidence would need to show before anyone relies on it.
I work out what people need to experience, understand, and be able to do for the service to work in practice.
I make the smallest useful intervention the situation requires, test the hard parts, and leave a path another person can continue.
My service
Evaltron is my focused customer-outcome evidence and measurement service for B2B companies. It helps make one claim concrete, prepare for an important conversation, and decide what evidence to build next.

Led the development of CHAT, distilling a long assessment framework into ten questions health workers can use in clinical conversations.
Maintained and evolved reproducible analysis systems across five years and eighteen public releases, while keeping room for new clinical questions.
Led product concept, data architecture, analysis, and web-tool development for research software used in paid client engagements.
Articles
A working event experiment that gives peers a real problem to explore and a fair opportunity to demonstrate how they think and work.
2Better human research data begins with a better experience of collecting it.
1I built a synthetic-research prototype and tested it until I found the boundary between useful machine signals and claims about people.
About me
I work from problem definition and data collection through analysis, service design, tool building, delivery, and evaluation.
I call this research carpentry because the material follows the job. The useful answer might be data, interviews, software, a service, a report, or a decision process. My grounding is a PhD in social psychology and formal training in psychometrics, strengthened by years of applied research, software development, product work, and company building.

Tell me what needs to work, what decision is ahead, or what has become stuck.
You have a survey, analysis, panel, synthetic-research claim, or research product and need an independent view before you rely on it.
You have an unmet need or uncertain opportunity and need the research, interface, software, or operating path it requires.
A piece of research, product, or service has become difficult, unclear, or stuck. I help establish what must be stabilised, what can be recovered, and what the next useful step should be.
